The Nahe is often called the "hidden jewel of German viticulture". The region lies along the river Nahe, which flows into the Rhine near Bingen, and is virtually enclosed between the wine regions Rheinhessen, Rheingau and Middle Rhine - therefore "hidden". What makes the Nahe a real jewel is not only its cool climate, which produces enormously elegant wines, especially in Riesling and the Burgundy vines. The wide variety of soil types in the vineyards is also of interest to wine lovers: About 4,000 hectares of vines grow on around 180 different soil types. That is why every Nahe wine is a unique gem to try!, , Since 1708, tradition, knowledge and passion have been passed on from generation to generation at the Kruger-Rumpf winery. In 2016 it was time again – the dynamic brothers Georg and Philipp took over the management of the winery together. Producing authentic wines – that is the goal of the Rumpf family.
