| The winemaker Klaus Mesel has wanted to make a Scheurebe semi-dry for a long time. With the 2019 vintage, he took heart and hit the bull's eye. It was a great success. Now he is an enthusiastic "repeat offender" year by year. Blackcurrant, peach, tangerine and lime characterize the unmistakable varietal bouquet. "Juicy, broad and fresh" is how he describes his Scheu, "a wine that invites you to come back for more." Klaus can really let off steam in the kitchen.
